Company OverviewCommunity Support Advocates is dedicated to partnering for growth and resiliency.We are committed to empowering individuals, fostering diversity, and dismantling stigma to create a more inclusive and hopeful community.Job Summary The Momentum Program Assistant is a grant-funded, temporary, part-time position, 10-15 hrs.per week.This position is mainly responsible for the end-to-end delivery of inclusive, art-based interventions to rural communities.This includes driving Momentum's mobile studio to remote sites, adapting curriculum for diverse cognitive and physical abilities, and fostering a safe environment for at-risk youth, the elderly, and/or those with disabilities to develop self-expression and life skills.The role emphasizes using the arts as a tool for personal growth, resilience, and community connection.The Momentum Program Assistant will also provide coverage in the Momentum Art Studio as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Mobile Operations & Logistics:Responsible for the safe transportation of artwork and supplies.This includes maintaining the vehicle, managing inventory of kits, and setting up pop-up studio spaces in non-traditional venues like community centers, schools, or libraries. Instruction & Curriculum Design:Designing and teaching takeaway or pop-up arts experiences that are adaptable to various age groups and skill levels. Rural Outreach & Partnership:Acting as the primary eyes and ears in the field to identify local stakeholders.This involves building relationships with rural schools, local councils, and community leaders to schedule visits and ensure programs meet local needs. Event & Workshop Coordination:Organizing logistics for rotating art programs, public installations, and community-created art projects at remote sites. Evaluation & Documentation:Tracking participant data, conducting surveys, and documenting the success of mobile sessions for grant reporting and future funding Employees are expected to engage at all times to live the agency's Mission, Vision, and Values (MVV).Employees promote MVV among team and staff actions as an essential part of their work.
