Morgan Stanley at Work Product Manager – Assistant Vice President Wealth Management Platforms Purchase, NY As a Product Manager, you will work on exciting technology initiatives to build best-in-class digital platforms for our Home Office users and Financial Advisors to help them better service our clients. This is a highly collaborative role, where you will work closely with our team of digital product owners and collaborate across multiple functions such as designers, engineers, operations, legal, risk, compliance, and business partners. You will help define and drive the digital product strategy and develop, launch, and enhance the platform to meet the unique needs of our users. The ideal candidate should have experience creating product roadmaps, defining clear product requirements, and leading cross-functional agile teams through the delivery process. Department Overview In the Wealth Management division, we help people, businesses and institutions build, preserve, and manage wealth so they can pursue their financial goals Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of ten sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow, Digital Trading & Investing, Generative AI, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution, WM Platforms Risk, and the Chief Operating Office. Workplace Platforms is a division within the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Platforms, comprised of the digital platforms supporting Morgan Stanley at Work business, including Equity Compensation, Retirement Plan Solutions, and Deferred Compensation. Workplace Platforms team drives and defines the digital and online experience for wealth management and corporate clients. The overall mission of the division is to create a best-in-class experience for both corporate clients and their employees as we engage them throughout their financial life journey, ultimately leading to a deepening of their Morgan Stanley Wealth Management relationship. Our approach will be highly scalable, leveraging an omni-channel strategy with an emphasis on messaging, onboarding, cross-selling, activation and servicing. Our goal will be to drive growth across all client segment, including mass affluent, with new digital capabilities. What You’ll Do In The Role As an Assistant Vice President/Associate of the team, you will contribute to the strategic discussions with internal stakeholders, help drive alignment on key decisions with partners across the Firm, and assist in executing those decisions with efficiency and accuracy Guide development process, working closely with engineering, UX and key stakeholders to build and enhance our managed platforms Manage and improve efficiencies related to the lifecycle of equity trades. Identify risks and work with business and technology to alleviate potential risks. Gather, organize, and assimilate internal and external feedback to identify and prioritize product gaps, enhancements, and new features and develop a product roadmap aligned to key business deliverables Participate in senior-level discussions and contribute to the delivery of insights that inform both tactical and long-term business decisions Create project documentation (presentations, communication plans, requirements documents) to share formal updates with business and technology leaders Lead requirement grooming/planning sessions to ensure that development schedules, design criteria, costs, and technical specifications meet the defined business need Analyze product performance and end-user feedback to make data-driven decisions about product improvements and new features Skills Required 3-6 years related industry experience Self-starter with strong and creative problem-solving skills Superior analytic
