Stony Brook Stables is seeking a reliable, hardworking Part Time Barn Hand to join our dedicated crew.We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, organized, and professional facility that provides exceptional care for our horses and a welcoming environment for our boarders and riders.About the Position:As a Barn Hand, you'll work alongside a supportive team and under the guidance of our Barn Manager to help keep daily operations running smoothly.We believe in effective training, clear communication, and teamwork--you'll never be left without guidance or support.Responsibilities include:Feeding, watering, and turning horses in/out Cleaning and bedding stalls to standards Sweeping aisles, cleaning buckets, and maintaining overall barn tidiness Assisting with blanketing Reporting any health or safety concerns promptly Working collaboratively with other team members and following structured routines What We're Looking For:Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented individual Previous horse experience preferred (but we will train the right person!) Strong attention to detail and work ethic Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely Positive attitude and willingness to learn 18years old NJ RESIDENTS ONLY Schedule & Pay:Full-time, 4-5 days per week 7am-11am Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and additional responsibilities Why Join Stony Brook Stables?
