Duties Oversee daily café operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste. Train, mentor, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development. Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote café events and special offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café, including dining areas and kitchen facilities. Requirements Proven experience in the food industry; previous roles as a cook or assistant manager are advantageous. Strong knowledge of food management practices, including health regulations and safety standards. Experience in culinary arts or food production is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Previous experience in banquet or hotel settings is a plus but not required.
