Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Staff Location: Coconut Point -23450 Via Coconut PointEstero FL 33928 Department: MRI Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 2/2:30:00 PM to 11:00:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.39 - $39.50 / hour Up to 15,000 in Hiring Incentives and Up to $7,900 in Relocation Assistance for eligible candidates! Summary Performs all MRI procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the MRI area. Safely operates the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality MR images. Understands the computer software of the MR scanners and maintains competency in MR area. Consistently applies working knowledge pertaining to MR anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or Additional Requirements Graduation of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography or MRI degree program. Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or No Experience Required Additional Requirements Radiology or MRI degree graduates accepted State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Additional Requirements Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only. MRI degree for non-radiology techs. Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Required/ Preferred and/or BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)Required Additional Requirements ARRT Registered or eligible required.
