Job Description
Company Description Our company is a small, highly specialized consulting company focused on Department of Defense MRP consultancy. We operate as an extension of our clients’ teams — hands-on, responsive, and deeply involved in day-to-day problem solving and execution. Our reputation has grown primarily through results and repeat business, expanding from a single contract into multiple engagements across the U.S. We intentionally keep our team small, which means every person plays a key role and works directly with clients and leadership. We’re looking for people who take ownership, communicate well, and want to make a visible impact. Role Description This is a remote contract role for an MRP Consultant supporting a long-term Department of Defense client engagement focused on supply chain optimization, operational improvement, and data integrity. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of end-to-end MRP and supply chain operations who enjoys both analyzing issues and solving them hands-on. Responsibilities include identifying process inefficiencies, supporting data cleansing efforts, implementing sustainable improvements, and helping train client teams on best practices. It is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact within a large Department of Defense organization while working as part of a small, highly effective consulting team. Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen Proficiency in MRP software systems, supply chain management, and production planning. Costpoint experience is a plus, but not required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data effectively Project management skills, including organization and prioritization of tasks Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal collaboration skills Experience in client relations, including training or presentations is preferred Ability to work independently in a remote setting while delivering consistent results Experience in manufacturing and logistics industries is a strong advantage
