MS Research Assistantship: Crayfish chemosensory communication

Great Lakes Center, SUNY Buffalo State University 1300 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14222 Closing Date: Jun 30, 2026 Description The Great Lakes Center and Chemistry Department at Buffalo State University are accepting applications for a graduate thesis position focused on chemical communication biology of crayfish. The selected student will assist in the isolation and verification of potential compounds triggering mate searching behavior. An undergraduate degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry with interests in applied animal behavior. Familiarity with mass spectroscopy an asset but not essential.
