Description - What You'll Be Doing Conduct standard and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols. Review results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on lab equipment. Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required. Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards. Ensure a clean, safe work environment by adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in an allied health field along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire. Keep your certification current throughout your employment.
