Your Contributions - What You Will Achieve Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols. Ensure the accuracy of results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments. Assist with specimen collection and preparation when necessary. Thoroughly document all procedures, train new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality assurance standards. Maintain a safe, organized workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, in addition to preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certification Requirements ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of hire. Maintain current certification throughout employment.
