Project Manager – Multifamily Construction 📍 Los Angeles, CA 💰 $140,000 – $180,000 base DOE + benefits A well-established General Contractor is hiring a Project Manager to help deliver multifamily projects across the Los Angeles market. This is with a stable GC that has built a strong reputation locally, with a long-term pipeline of work and a team that is looking to hire for the long term, not just one project. The company is best suited to someone who comes from a true GC background, understands how to manage projects from preconstruction / buyout through closeout, and has strong experience working directly with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal field teams. They are looking for someone with good job tenure , strong communication skills, and a background delivering multifamily work with a General Contractor. Responsibilities include: Managing multifamily construction projects from start to finish Working closely with Superintendents, Project Executives, owners, architects, and subcontractors Overseeing budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Managing subcontractor buyout, contracts, procurement, and project cost control Leading OAC meetings and maintaining strong client communication Identifying project issues early and helping keep the job on schedule and within budget Supporting field teams with coordination, problem solving, and decision making Maintaining strong project records and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard Helping drive projects through closeout, punch list, and final turnover What we’re looking for: 5+ years of construction project management experience Multifamily project experience strongly preferred Majority of experience must be with a General Contractor Strong understanding of ground-up construction Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, budgets, schedules, and subcontractors Ability to work well with field teams, owners, architects, and internal leadership Stable career history / good job tenure Strong communication and organisation skills Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel, Outlook, or similar tools Someone who takes ownership and can see projects through from start to finish Compensation & benefits: $140,000 – $180,000 base salary depending on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) PTO Paid holidays Long-term growth potential Strong local project pipeline Why this opportunity: Established GC with a strong reputation in the LA market Long-term local multifamily pipeline Stable business with repeat clients and consistent work Strong leadership team and clear project support Opportunity to manage meaningful projects without being lost in a huge corporate structure Best suited to someone looking for a long-term home, not just their next job If you are interested, please apply directly with a resume and project list.
