JOB Grand Blanc Township is seeking a motivated and professional intern to join our team for the summer. This position offers a unique, hands on opportunity to gain experience across multiple township departments while contributing to meaningful community initiatives.This position will play an active role in daily operations, special projects, and community engagement efforts. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in local government, public administration, communications, or event planning.This position is expected to work up to 40 hours per week from May through August (able to work around university schedule). EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Support the planning, coordination, and execution of township events and programsCollaborate with various township departments on projects and initiatives to gain a broad understanding of municipal operationsAssist the Community Engagement team by helping cover events, programs, and outreach effortsConduct outreach to local businesses, organizations, and residents to gather feedback and build community relationshipsAssist with creating flyers, graphics, and other outreach materialsOther duties as assigned.
