Responsibilities Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement clients’ skin tones and preferences Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by disinfecting tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering expert advice on nail care and beauty treatments Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue Assist clients with retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and beauty accessories using retail math skills to maximize sales opportunities Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion techniques, and other beauty services Experience Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role demonstrating proficiency in various nail techniques Knowledge of color theory, nail care best practices, sanitation protocols, and current beauty trends Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their aesthetic goals Familiarity with additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, esthetic laser treatments, hair extensions, barbering, or dermabrasion is a plus Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor Certification in cosmetology or related beauty fields is required; ongoing education in new techniques is encouraged Prior experience in retail sales within a salon or spa environment is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your creativity meets your passion for helping others look and feel their best.
