Job Summary:CUMBERLAND, MEWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nanny / Caregiver to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care for our family starting in April or May 2026.We have 3 boys (4, 3, and 21 months) and are expecting a baby girl May 1st.I will be home for the summer on maternity leave and will primarily be with our baby girl and 21 month old.Responsibility would be for 2-3 of the boys (the two older boys are in and out of summer camp).Can be flexible with hours/days.The two older boys start at St.Brigids school full time in September.Responsibility then will be for our baby girl and 2 year old (I am returning to work 3 days a week M-W).We will need care at least M-W 8:30-5:30pm.Can discuss more days if needed.In this vital role, you will create a safe and nurturing environment, support children's developmental needs, and assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and engaging activities.Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help foster a positive experience for both children and their families.This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while working in a supportive environment.Responsibilities Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times Support children's developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities, play, and educational engagement Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences Assist with daily routines including diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to childcare such as tidying up toys and children's areas Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate about the child's progress, needs, and daily activities Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as babysitting, nannying, daycare, or preschool environments Demonstrated ability to care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children with patience and compassion Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Experience with meal preparation suitable for young children and managing dietary restrictions or allergies Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification is preferred but not required; training can be provided if necessary Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude This role is ideal for caring individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to nurturing the growth of our young children.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Pay:$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours:27 - 40 per week Work Location:In person.
