Company Overview CSM is a dynamic and expanding national sales organization with a rich history of serving diverse retail channels.Since its founding, CSM has grown from a regional electrical distribution representative to a comprehensive partner supporting big box retailers, e-commerce platforms, hardware stores, grocery chains, and specialty markets.Our team is dedicated to driving growth and delivering exceptional service across the retail landscape.Position Overview The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for developing and expanding strategic partnerships with national and regional hardware co-ops, wholesalers, and buying groups.This role drives revenue growth, increases market share, and delivers value-driven programs that enhance brand presence across diverse retail and distribution channels.Key Responsibilities Partner with the Sales and Strategy Director to achieve customer-specific objectives, accelerate growth, and expand market share within assigned accounts.Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key decision-makers across major hardware co-ops, distributors, and dealer groups (e.g., Orgill, Tractor Supply).Develop and execute annual joint business plans aligned with company goals and partner strategies.Lead negotiations on pricing, promotional programs, and merchandising initiatives to maximize category performance and profitability.Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product management teams to ensure alignment on product availability, campaigns, and execution.Analyze sales performance, planograms, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with key accounts, focusing on performance metrics, profitability, and long-term growth initiatives.Oversee execution of co-op events, trade shows, and marketing programs to ensure consistency and impact.Partner with field sales teams to strengthen dealer engagement and enhance in-market brand visibility.Qualifications & Skills:A highly developed level of creative skills, resourcefulness and perseverance are required to succeed as a National Account Manager Adaptability and multi-tasking ability Initiative (self-starter) Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization Strong ability to work in a team environment Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%Assist with trade show coordination and attend trade shows when necessary.On average 3-4 shows per year.Must be able to lift, pull and push items to prepare for the show There may be walking long distances and standing for long periods of time Proven track record in managing enterprise account management or a related role, preferably in hardware retail Bachelor's Degree required or the equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Proficient user in MS Office suite Must be able to prepare reports, presentations, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary Salary and Benefit Package:We have career growth and a very competitive salary and benefit package.Competitive salary based on experience We offer vacation and sick time accrual 401(k) - 4% employer matching contribution 100% Employer paid basic life, short term and long-term disability insurance Additional voluntary term life Insurance is available 9 Annual paid holidays Company provided Mobile Phone, Laptop/Tablet Vehicle mileage reimbursement/maintenance allowance Expense reimbursement Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.Pay:From $85,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s):Do you live in Nashville or Memphis Tennessee?
