As a National Account Manager - NEW Business Deveopment expert, you will drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, cultivating long-term strategic relationships, and delivering tailored, transportation solutions. This role requires a deep industry knowledge and experience selling expedited shipping and freight forwarding, domestic and international. Lead new business development efforts and expand Imperative Expedites market presence. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at existing and prospective client organizations. Research, qualify, and develop sales leads using various sources including industry events, directories, digital tools, and referrals. Engage with sales leads provided by the Corporate Sales Office and global partners, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion strategies. Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, including travel to present Imperative Expedites value proposition. Deliver compelling, client-focused presentations that showcase our logistics solutions, operational capabilities, and service advantages. Oversee onboarding and implementation of new clients, ensuring smooth transition and long-term satisfaction. Coordinate customer training and manage ongoing client support in collaboration with operations and account management teams.
