Role Overview Amana Foods International is seeking an experienced and driven National Sales Manager to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for leading national sales operations, driving revenue growth, managing strategic accounts, and developing high-performing sales initiatives aligned with company objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience selling food products within the U.S. market, including managing relationships with brokers, ethnic grocery chains, independent ethnic stores, distributors, and mainstream national, regional, and local supermarket chains. **Key Responsibilities Develop and execute national sales strategies to support company growth objectives Drive sales growth across broker networks, ethnic retail channels, and mainstream supermarket chains throughout the U.S. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, buyers, category managers, distributors, and retail partners Manage and expand business with national, regional, and independent grocery accounts Develop and oversee broker partnerships to maximize market penetration and sales performance Identify new market opportunities and develop channel expansion strategies Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and operational plans Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to support business goals Negotiate pricing, promotional programs, and business agreements with key accounts and broker partners Qualifications** Proven experience in food sales management within the U.S. market Strong experience working with food brokers and retail distribution networks Established relationships with buyers in ethnic grocery chains, independent ethnic stores, and mainstream supermarket retailers Experience managing sales with national, regional, and local supermarket chains Strong proficiency in Business Planning and strategic sales development Demonstrated success in Account Management and growing key customer relationships Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams Experience managing sales budgets, forecasting, and revenue targets Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field MBA or equivalent experience is a plus Experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry is strongly preferred Why Join Amana Foods International?
