Experience a dynamic nursing environment in a respected pediatric setting, working with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team in a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and teaching hospital. This contract opportunity is for 26 weeks, ideal for those motivated by high acuity pediatric care and seeking a supportive, collaborative workplace. Schedule/Hours: 26-week contract Potential for 48-hour/week guarantee (to be discussed in interview) Schedule cycles every 6 weeks No on-call requirement for travelers Rotational floating to NICU, Pediatric CVICU, Neonatal PCU, and General Pediatric units as needed Qualifications and Experience: Active RN licensure, BLS & PALS certifications required At least 2 years of recent, high-acuity Pediatric ICU experience Comfort and confidence in fast-paced, high-acuity settings Experience with EPIC EMR, Artic Sun, EVDs, Camino devices, Belmont Rapid Infuser, critical care vasoactive drips, ART/CVP lines, ventilator and trach care, CRRT, and other listed modalities Ability and willingness to float to related units (such as Pediatric CVICU) Key Responsibilities: Deliver intensive nursing care to patients with conditions such as respiratory distress, trauma, seizures, transplants, renal failure, and blood disorders Manage a patient ratio based on acuity (1:1 to 2:1) Ensure safety and best practices in invasive line and ventilator management Collaborate with an expert team including 24/7 support staff (charge nurse, CNA, phlebotomy, respiratory therapists, intensivists, residents, APPs) Engage in bedside procedures, thorough documentation, and patient/family education Uphold the core values of accountability, respect, and compassionate teamwork Benefits and Perks: Comprehensive orie
