Job Description
Meadow Kidney Care is expanding and seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our patient‑centered nephrology team. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians interested in chronic kidney disease management, continuity of care, and building strong patient relationships. Why Work With Us Consistent schedule with autonomy and strong physician support Full training provided for candidates new to nephrology Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits Holidays and weekends off Key Responsibilities Dialysis Rounding: Provide ongoing clinical management to patients at dialysis centers in Frederick County Conduct assessments, medication adjustments, and care coordination Work closely with nephrologists, nurses, social workers, and dietitians Outpatient Clinic Care: Evaluate and manage patients with chronic kidney disease Develop and update treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Educate patients and families on kidney function, disease progression, and lifestyle changes Educate patients about chronic kidney disease Qualifications Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification (required) Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maryland Nephrology experience preferred but not required Strong communication skills and commitment to compassionate care Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off Continuing education support and opportunities for professional growth including dedicated nephrology continuing education About Meadow Kidney Care We are a long‑established nephrology practice known for delivering high‑quality, personalized kidney care.
