Job Title: Network Engineer (Journeyman) - Cleared Location: McConnell AFB, Wichita, KS (Onsite) Duration: Perm Openings: 2 Salary: $85K-$92K Clearance Active DoD Secret (must be current and in-scope; no reinvestigations) Summary: Tier 3/4 Network Engineer supporting a USAF/ANG Network Operations Center (NOC). Responsible for advanced troubleshooting, network engineering, configuration management, and sustainment across NIPR/SIPR environments. Not a help desk role. Required Qualifications 3-10 years network engineering experience (enterprise or DoD, Tier 2/3+) Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience/military background) CCNA required (Network+ minimum; CCNP preferred) DoD 8140 compliant (Network Operations Specialist role) Strong hands-on experience with routing/switching, firewalls, WAN Technical Skills TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, IPv4/IPv6 Cisco and/or Juniper environments NMS tools (SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, etc.) ServiceNow or similar ITSM STIGs, RMF, vulnerability management (ACAS) NAC (802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+) NIPR/SIPR experience Nice to Have CCNP or higher Security Air Force / ANG experience Wireless, Zero Trust, or IPv6 transition exposure Other Requirements On-call rotation (24/7 support environment) Ability to respond onsite within 2 hours if required Occasional travel (reimbursable) System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
