Introduction This role involves working with a dynamic team to design, implement, and maintain network and system solutions. The position requires a strong focus on automation and scripting within a virtual environment, as well as leadership and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a network architect or in a similar senior-level network engineering role (7 years). Extensive experience with network automation tools and practices. Strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-level network solutions. Proficiency in network protocols, services, and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, VRF's). Very strong proficiency in Python programming and Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.). Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible). Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) (Arista CVP, Cisco ACI). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform). Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Leadership capabilities and a proactive attitude. Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Advanced certifications in Networking (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE). Knowledge of database systems (SQL, Nautobot). Arista ACE Level 5 or Cisco DevNet S/P/E. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using Python and shell scripts within a virtual env
