About the Clinician's Workday The nurse practitioner will round and evaluate all patients on the neurosurgery service while coordinating care with the neurosurgeon on call. Clinical responsibilities include writing daily progress notes, discharge summaries, consultation notes, and evaluating new consults. The clinician will communicate changes in care plans and neurological assessments to the neurosurgeon on call while managing patient and family communications throughout the assignment.
