Job Description
Position Type: Part-Time About Us Woodlands Psychotherapy and Brain Training is the leading provider for neurofeedback and mental healthcare in the Woodlands TX. Our mission is to empower individuals to improve their mental well-being, and enhance their cognitive performance, through cutting-edge neurofeedback technology. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Neurofeedback Technician to join our dedicated team and contribute to our mission of helping individuals achieve their optimal brain function. Responsibilities Conduct neurofeedback sessions with clients using state-of-the-art equipment and software. Collect EEG recordings of clients. Prepare clients for neurofeedback sessions, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the process. Operate and maintain neurofeedback equipment, ensuring its functionality and cleanliness. Monitor and record clients' physiological responses during sessions, adjusting parameters as needed. Collaborate with clients to set goals and track progress throughout their neurofeedback training program. Analyze session data to make informed adjustments to clients' neurofeedback protocols. Educate clients on the principles of neurofeedback, brain health, and stress management. Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation. Stay up-to-date with advancements in neurofeedback technology and techniques through continuous learning and training. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field Certification in Neurofeedback or Biofeedback is not necessary but would be a plus (BCIA certification preferred). Previous experience as a Neurofeedback Technician or similar role is not necessary but would be a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven adjustments. Empathetic and compassionate approach when working with clients. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients' progress.
