Job Description Introduction to the Role and Practice: Centra is looking for a BC/BE General Outpatient Neurologist to join our wonderful team! The CMG Neurosciences division has grown significantly in the past several years to include specialized Epilepsy services complete with epilepsy monitoring unit, neurodiagnostics and research, stroke and neurovascular services with plans for expansion to treating concussions. The department has 3 full time neurosurgeons trained in spine, complex spine, and vascular neurosurgery. Within the neurovascular services, the team offers a full range of clinical capability from endovascular procedures to open cerebrovascular procedures addressing AVMs, aneurysms, and tumors. Centra is continuing to grow, with plans to expand into a larger campus in the next few years. These plans include the construction of a new specialty office building, which will house the Brain and Spine programs along with other surgical specialists. Responsibilities You Can Expect: Collaborative, compassionate team including seasoned APP support Hospital employed Qualifications The ideal candidate will practice general neurology. Candidates with subspecializations in Movement Disorders, Headache or Vascular will also be considered. Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
