New Business Analyst II Location: Atlanta Hybrid Contract- 3 Years Client- Southern Company Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven New Business Analyst II with 5–10 years of experience to identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic growth opportunities. This role focuses on market research, financial analysis, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to expand market presence and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and a proven track record in business development or strategic consulting. Key Responsibilities Market Research & Competitive Analysis Conduct in-depth market research to identify: New business opportunities Industry trends Competitive positioning Analyze market data to support strategic decisions. Strategic Planning Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives. Identify new revenue streams and expansion opportunities. Support long-term business planning and roadmap development. Client & Partner Engagement Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and stakeholders. Represent the organization in discussions and negotiations. Business Development & Lead Generation Identify and evaluate new business prospects, partnerships, and potential collaborations. Generate leads through networking, prospecting, and outreach initiatives. Explore M&A opportunities when applicable. Proposal & Presentation Development Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitch materials. Present strategic recommendations to leadership and external stakeholders. Financial & Risk Analysis Conduct financial analysis to assess profitability and ROI of new initiatives. Evaluate risk and business impact of potential ventures. Negotiation & Contracting Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements. Ensure mutually beneficial terms and strategic alignment. Project & Initiative Management Oversee implementation of approved business initiatives. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful launch and execution. Reporting & Performance Tracking Track key metrics related to business development efforts. Provide reporting and recommendations to leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in: Business Marketing Finance Related field 5–10 years of experience in: Business development Strategic consulting Growth strategy roles Proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities. Strong financial analysis and business modeling skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Experience using CRM and market research tools. Preferred Qualifications MBA or advanced degree. Experience in regulated or enterprise environments. Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions initiatives. Familiarity with enterprise-level sales cycles.
