Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented New & Used Inventory Manager to lead our inventory operations for both new and pre-owned boats. Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 9AM–5PM Pay Rate: $95,000 - $135,000 combination of salary and commission, + additional bonus Key Responsibilities: Execute on the new and used inventory strategy set by Nautical One Marine Center Senior Leadership team, ensuring the right product mix to drive sales velocity and profitability Source and secure high-quality used inventory through private sellers, trade-ins, consignment opportunities, and wholesale/auction channels Build and maintain a strong pipeline of used inventory that meets company standards for condition, desirability, and retail turn expectations Evaluate market trends, pricing data, and demand patterns to acquire inventory that will retail quickly and at acceptable profit margins Work closely with store leadership to identify and select OEM brands, product lines, and specific models to represent and stock Negotiate with manufacturers (OEMs) to secure competitive purchase programs, volume discounts, floorplan support, and co-op marketing benefits Manage inventory levels, aging, and turn rates to ensure optimal stocking and minimal capital drag Collaborate with Senior leadership to align inventory with current demand, seasonal trends, and promotional strategies Monitor and manage inbound inventory logistics, condition, and readiness for retail Develop relationships with brokers, dealers, and industry contacts to expand sourcing opportunities Drive continuous improvement in inventory acquisition processes, vendor relationships, and overall inventory performance Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in inventory management or marine dealership operations Proven track record of sourcing high-quality used inventory that turns quickly and profitably Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success working with OEMs, vendors, and private sellers Deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategy, and inventory turn management Experience with auctions, wholesale channels, and consignment inventory sourcing Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed inventory purchasing decisions Strong financial acumen with a focus on margin, turn, and return on investment Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Pay: $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
