Note: $2 extra for working 11:30am-8pm Bay Standard Manufacturing East LLC (BSME), is offering a unique opportunity for entry-level production workers to join our team in Kendallville, Indiana. BSME provides threaded rods used in seismic and wind tie-down systems, and straight and bent anchors in concrete. You will be a key member of our Production Line, playing a pivotal role in setting up, operating, and maintaining wire-drawing and thread-rolling equipment. Your contributions will directly impact the production of high-quality threaded rods for various applications. Team Size: 12 members (smaller operation) Shifts: 1 shift 7am-3:30pm for now until July, then moving to 11:30am-8pm. Need people for this specific shift. Salary Range: $19-21 per hour (based on specific threaded rod experience) + $2 for the night shift Note: This job can be intense. It is dirty, oily, and hard labor. If must be comfortable getting your hands dirty and oily. Summer are hot and winters are cold. Responsibilities: Perform various tasks on the production line, including assembly, packaging, and quality control. Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Immediately report any issues or concerns to management. Qualifications: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 30 pounds Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Basic math skills - ability to use a measuring tape Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes Willingness to be cross-trained on different machines (essential for your success) Strong work ethic, dependable, punctual, and with a positive attitude Ability to work well in a small team environment High school diploma or equivalent Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required Occasional overtime may be required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): How soon are you available to start working full-time?
