Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Porter to join our dynamic facilities team.In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment during overnight hours.Your proactive approach will ensure the smooth operation of our premises, providing excellent service and support to staff and visitors alike.This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and security of our facility while working in a lively, fast-paced environment.Duties Perform thorough cleaning and janitorial tasks across all areas of the facility, including common spaces, restrooms, and service areas to ensure a spotless environment.Conduct custodial duties such as floor care, buffing, and detailed cleaning to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.Carry out industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleans in designated zones.Maintain facilities by performing routine maintenance checks, addressing minor repairs, and coordinating larger issues with appropriate teams.Support building security by monitoring CCTV systems, inspecting entrances and exits, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed during overnight hours.Assist with general porter duties including moving supplies, setting up for events or meetings, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the premises.Document all cleaning activities, maintenance work, and security checks accurately in logs for accountability and reporting purposes.Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings.Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is highly desirable.Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous.Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.Join us as a Night Porter and become an essential part of our commitment to creating a clean, secure, and welcoming environment!
