Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Night Time Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction activities during nighttime hours for grocery store remodels. This role is vital in ensuring that large-scale projects progress smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. As a Night Time Construction Superintendent, you will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and management to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. Your leadership will drive safety excellence, foster teamwork, and ensure all construction operations adhere to industry standards and company policies. Responsibilities Supervise all construction activities during night shifts, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless nighttime operations. Monitor site safety practices rigorously, enforce OSHA regulations, and conduct regular safety audits to prevent incidents. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide on-site activities accurately. Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work for compliance with specifications and standards; address any issues promptly. Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, reviewing contracts, and ensuring resource allocation aligns with project goals. Supervise construction staff and subcontractors; provide clear direction, support training efforts, and evaluate performance regularly. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, safety incidents, inspections, and progress reports for project documentation. Ensure all equipment such as ohmmeters is used correctly for electrical testing and troubleshooting as needed. Requirements 3+ years with grocery store remodel experience. Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects on-site during night shifts . Extensive knowledge of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Hands-on experience with construction site operations including quality control processes. Ability to read technical documents accurately using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary. Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training are highly preferred; additional certifications in heavy equipment operation or specialized trades are a plus.
