Night Time Flagger Details:Temporary position $25.00 /hour Full Time work available Third Shift (Monday through Wednesday from 11:00pm to 07:00am) Work overnight shifts, often including weekends, in low light conditions with artificial lighting and reflective gear.Use high visibility clothing and lighted devices so drivers can clearly see directions in the dark.Stay highly alert for fatigued or impaired drivers and changing visibility due to weather or work lights.Use stop/slow paddles, hand signals, or illuminated wands to direct vehicles and pedestrians through or around work zones.Communicate with other flaggers and supervisors via radios or hand signals to coordinate two-way traffic on single-lane roads.Night Time Flagger Qualifications:High school diploma or GED is commonly required.Valid flagger/traffic control certification (often ATSSA or state approved) and knowledge of state traffic laws and work zone standards.Ability to stand for long periods, lift and place cones/signs, and work in all weather conditions at night.Strong communication skills, situational awareness, and the ability to follow safety procedures with minimal supervision.Must be able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with impatient or upset motorists, coworkers, and members of the public, even in stressful situations.Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire.We will consider your age at the time of the offense, when the offense occurred, the seriousness and the nature of the offense, as well as any rehabilitation to determine your employability.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.How to Apply:Visit, email, call, or text us today!
