Academic Nocturnist StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $317000.00 - $358664.00 A nationally recognized academic health system in the heart of North Carolina is seeking a team-oriented Nocturnist to join a collaborative hospitalist team. Academic Faculty Nocturnist role ~Join a collaborative team where nocturnists never work alone ~ Schedule includes rotations through teaching teams, rounding, admissions, consult service, and the Intermediate Care Unit ~ Supportive infrastructure with strong subspecialty support, a closed ICU, and dedicated rapid response/code teams ~ Epic EMR ~ Highly competitive benefits package, including a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance ~ You’ll also have robust opportunities to teach and mentor medical students and Internal Medicine residents, contribute to quality improvement, systems-based innovation, or clinical research, advance your own academic interests, and participate in institutional initiatives focused on patient safety, throughput, and team culture.
