Job Summary and Responsibilities Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is seeking a Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our multi-specialty group in the Sacramento area. The MMG Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) plays a crucial role in supporting hospitalist physicians in providing excellent care to hospitalized patients. This position requires a highly skilled and compassionate individual dedicated to patient safety and quality care. The APP will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals at night. The Nocturnist APP's primary focus will be on cross-cover care for patients, though they may also admit patients to the general medical floor from the emergency department or as a transfer from another facility, as well as provide hospital medicine consultations for specialists.
