Cardinal Transport LLC is a non-emergency medical transportation provider serving the assisted transportation needs of seniors and those with mobility challenges throughout Wake/Chatham, Durham, and Orange Counties. Destinations include area medical centers, hospital campuses, rehabilitation and skilled care facilities, and more. Driver will be charged with providing travel assistance to ambulatory and wheelchair-bound patients. This is a full-time or hourly position with the opportunity for advancement. All equipment, training, job related tools, and instruction will be provided. Various daily tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections Safely transport and assist patients to their appointments in a timely manner Assist patients into appointment, wait until checkout and receive important instructions from hospital staff Coordinate and inform company management of daily activities and outcomes Keep company vehicle clean and maintained on time Various skills and requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain helpful and courteous attitude ideally suited for senior clientele Listen to and comply with instructions, company rules, policies, and procedures Willingness to contribute as necessary to support the company’s overall mission Must be 25 years of age or older Possess valid North Carolina driver’s license Have a minimum high school diploma or GED Pass background check and drug screening Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Paid time off Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
