Duties Safely operate shuttle buses, vans, or other commercial vehicles to transport patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing friendly and respectful customer service throughout the journey. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times. Manage scheduling and routing efficiently to maximize punctuality and service quality. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, and passengers to coordinate pickups and drop-offs smoothly. Handle light lifting of mobility aids or luggage as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor. Skills Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Familiarity with paratransit operations and school bus driving is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse passengers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling equipment safely. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines to ensure ongoing safety and reliability. Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive experience for every passenger. Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type; clean driving record required.
