Description The Non-Invasive Imaging Department offers a full range of cardiac imaging and testing across seven diverse locations for inpatients and outpatients. The Department offers echocardiography and ECG services- stress testing, cardiopulmonary exercise stress testing and ambulatory monitoring. Provides direct supervision typically to professionals or skilled technical employees. Functions as advisor to unit and administration. Analyzes and resolves problems, interprets policies (e.g., fiscal management, HR, contracts and grants, resource management in defined areas) and demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Supervises staff to assure accountability and stewardship of department resources (operational, financial, and human) in compliance with departmental goals and objectives. Supervises staff performing electrocardiogram (ECG) / cardiac stress testing and the monitoring of patients before, during and after testing. Oversees employees, enforces policies and procedures and monitors productivity. The Non-Invasive Imaging Supervisor serves as the principal advisor and strategic partner for all ECG services and the clinical support team. The Supervisor also manages and develops Non-Invasive administrative staff. Acts as an integrator to ensure that priorities, information, and initiatives flow effectively across clinical, research, educational, and operational domains. Applies advanced administrative concepts to manage and coordinate broad and complex functions. Regularly works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Builds strong relationships with partners across the health system, including clinical technology, student health, ambulatory and inpatient leaders. These relationships will ensure coordinated execution of operational initiatives and services. Plays a key role in business operations, human resources, project oversight and education support. Performance of both administrative and clinical operations activities will be the focus of the position. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training. A minimum of five (5+) or more years of supervisory experience. Ability to apply principles to procedures in an acute care and ambulatory settings. Preferred Qualifications Experience within Electrocardiology. SPECIAL CONDITIONS Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $119,400 - $230,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $57.18 - $110.54 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
