What You Will Do Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is seeking a Low Voltage Electrical Systems Engineer to join the Engineering Services Division, supporting the Science Project Delivery team (ES-SPD). You will be working as part of a design team assessing, maintaining, and upgrading facility systems at LANL. Specific tasks will include developing contract documents consisting of drawings, specifications, calculations and special inspections in order to maintain the technical baseline for new and existing facility systems throughout the facility lifecycle. This will require interfacing and coordinating with all stakeholders including other engineering disciplines, equipment manufacturers and customers during design and construction. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working close to the field, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams, and applying sound engineering judgment to real-world infrastructure challenges-all in support of a national mission. This position will be filled at either the Nuclear Facilities Engineer 2/3 level, depending on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
