Job Description
Seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide expert imaging services in both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT modalities. This contract role requires flexibility and the ability to float between departments to ensure comprehensive patient care. Schedule/Hours Shifts available: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, as needed 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Weekend and holiday shifts as needed On-call responsibilities included Key Responsibilities: Perform a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT imaging Accurately operate imaging equipment and complete CT fusion studies as required Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Float as necessary to provide coverage for Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Appropriately document procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records Respond effectively to on-call demands, including urgent and after-hours cases Preferred Qualifications & Experience: Minimum two years of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience preferred Demonstrated proficiency in both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging Current NJDEP license (New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection) ARRT or NMTCB registry (active status) Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Additional skills in CT fusion highly valued Enjoy the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing top-tier diagnostic imaging to patients in need.
