Nuclear Medicine TechnologistOpen for locals and travelersLocation: White River Junction, VT 05009. Pay Rate: $63 per hour Schedule: Flexible day, evening, and overnight shifts available. 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. Weekend rotations included Contract Length: 1 year with the option to extend Benefits: $5.09 per hour for Health and Welfare, 10 days PTO, Accrued sick days, and Paid Holidays. Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in advanced Nuclear Medicine procedures, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work alongside radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams using advanced imaging technology to support accurate diagnosis and treatment for our nation's veterans. Requirements:Current ARRT or NMTCB certification required Current AHA BLS certification Minimum of 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience Experience with advanced Nuclear Medicine procedures and imaging equipment Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety Must be able to pass federal background clearance Prior VA experience preferred but not required Responsibilities:Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures including Bone Scans, Cardiac Stress Tests, HIDA scans, GI studies, Lung scans, and more Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast materials safely Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions if needed Review imaging orders, maintain accurate patient records, and document procedures in CPRS/PACS systems Follow radiation safety, sterile technique, and infection control protocols Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to provide excellent patient care Assist with equipment maintenance and report technical issues as needed
