Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: Oak Park, Illinois Facility Type: Cardiology Office / Private Practice Employment Type: Full-Time (Part-time considered) Schedule: Mon - Fri (8-10 hour shifts) Key Responsibilities Explain imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort Prepare and operate imaging equipment (PET, SPECT, CT) Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely Position and monitor patients during scans Capture high-quality diagnostic images Maintain clean and compliant work environment Document exams and coordinate with physicians and care team Ensure patient safety during all procedures Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred (not open to fresh graduates) Licensure/Certifications IEMA State of Illinois License ARRT Certification CT Certification: R.T.
