Nurse Practitioner | Gastroenterology Location: Meridian, ID Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing Gastroenterology team serving the Meridian, Boise, and Nampa regions. This is a dynamic clinic + inpatient hybrid role focused on delivering comprehensive GI care across multiple settings. The ideal provider will be confident managing both acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, with a strong focus on patient-centered care, care coordination, and preventive health. While prior Gastroenterology experience is preferred, we also welcome experienced providers from acute care, family medicine, urgent care, women’s health, or cardiology backgrounds who are eager to transition into GI. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed histories and physical exams Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing (labs, imaging, advanced studies) Diagnose and manage acute and chronic GI conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe and manage medications and ongoing therapies Provide patient education on GI conditions, procedures, medications, and preventive care Coordinate longitudinal care across outpatient and inpatient settings Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC (preferred) Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary care teams Participate in continuing education and evidence-based practice updates Requirements Schedule Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Clinic) Inpatient Rotations: Based on coverage needs Call: Occasional night call may be required Qualifications Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Active, unrestricted Idaho license (or ability to obtain) Master’s degree required (Doctorate preferred but not required) Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience required Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills Experience in clinic, hospital, ER, or specialty care setting Excellent communication and patient education abilities Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team model Benefits Benefits Competitive compensation (based on experience) 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance & malpractice coverage Paid time off (PTO) Continuing Medical Education (CME) support Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
