Company Description The Urban Clinic of Atlanta, located in Fulton and Clayton Counties, is a free primary care clinic dedicated to serving uninsured individuals residing in Metro Atlanta. Our mission is to provide accessible healthcare, education, and support at no cost, ensuring equitable care for underserved communities. We specialize in routine primary care, chronic illness management, mental health support, and assistance with accessing prescription medications. Our team is deeply committed to improving health outcomes and providing compassionate care to our patients. Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at the Good Shepherd Clinic location in Morrow, GA. The responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care services, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include patient education, assisting with medication access, and maintaining accurate medical documentation to ensure high-quality care. Qualifications Proficiency in primary care practices, including diagnosing, managing chronic diseases, and developing treatment plans Skills in patient education, communication, and building rapport with diverse and underserved populations Ability to utilize electronic health records (EHR) effectively Understanding of public health principles and resources related to uninsured populations Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in the state of Georgia Experience in a community health setting is preferred but not mandatory Commitment to culturally sensitive and equitable healthcare
