Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, comprehensive patient care across diverse medical settings. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical histories to determine diagnosis and treatment needs. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various neurological conditions, including migraine, epilepsy, neuropathy, dementia, dysautonomia, Parkinson's, and Myasthenia Gravis. Administer medications and injections, including botulinum toxin treatments, following established protocols and safety standards. Utilize EMR system, eClinicalWorks, and Freed AI to document patient encounters accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Discuss lab and imaging results with the patients. Review labs and send comments via the portal. Answer portal and phone messages sent in by patients. No call Experience Strong background working with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for medical documentation and patient records management. Attention to detail, meticulous organizational and communication skills are necessary. Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 coding standards for accurate billing and documentation is advantageous. Experience providing care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques like MRI or laboratory experience supporting diagnostic evaluation is a plus. Knowledge about vitamin supplementation and long Covid is encouraged.
