Summary Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Genitourinary Surgical Oncology Department - Procedural Based in the Genitourinary (Urology) Department , this position split between outpatient and OR (assisting in surgery) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position provides patient care under the auspices of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG) , supports department Urologic Oncology Surgeons , and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. Position Highlights: Assists physicians with the evaluation, management and treatment of a wide spectrum of patients with different surgical and medical problems, procedures and co-morbidities. Assists physicians in the OR and during surgery as a First Assist in Robotic and Open cases Works within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physician(s) or by specific protocol(s).
