JOB SUMMARY The Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse with advanced educational preparation for managing the health care needs of patients in a hospice setting. Scope of practice includes patient education, assessment of disease and treatment of illness under protocols developed through collaborative efforts of the physician and nurse practitioner.
