View Job Description Here Information specific to this position: Multiple positions available. Summer school nursing involves Collecting information regarding students with health conditions and medications for each summer school program. Contacting families, medical providers and staff to ensure appropriate care plans are in place. Ensuring staff are delegated and comfortable with any required nursing procedures during school sponsored programing, including field trips or off-site events. Taking calls for all summer school programs during normal operating hours. Training: will be provided but experience with school nursing preferred. Licensing: Must have RN license (DORA license in CO or multi-state compact). The requirement for SSP license is waived for summer school. Should the nurse wish to apply for a position in the Fall, SSP license will be required at that time. Pay rate: $45/hour Work calendar days: Varied Schedule: four or five days per week, 4-8 hours/day depending on program schedules and needs. Duration of position: One Year Only Benefits include: PERA retirement Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $58,000 - $89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 6th, 2025). This is a probationary position. However, PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selected, will retain contract status. Must have a valid Colorado Educator's License with appropriate endorsement.
