We are an expanding Wholesale Plant Nursery looking to build a great team.At Pond View Gardens we specialize in growing Perennials and Hydrangeas.We are currently hiring for a Part-Time Nursery Assistant position.This position will be primarily accountable for operational tasks at the nursery including watering and plant production.We are specifically looking for someone who can work on Sundays.The other days we are more flexible.Position:Nursery Assistant Job Type:Part-Time, Seasonal (March 1-Ocober 31) Part-Time Hours:8:00 AM start.At least 20 hours/week.Must be able to work on Sundays.4 Major Roles and Responsibilities:1.Hand watering perennials 2.Loading orders onto delivery trucks 3.Plant Production- Filling pots with soil, potting up plugs and bare root material, fertilizing 4.Spacing and Pruning- An ongoing task for both Perennials and Hydrangeas Core Values:1.Bring it -Dependable.Energetic.Confident.-Own your work, be willing, committed, and accountable 2.Hustle and Amp -Old school work ethic -Move with urgency -Stay calm under pressure 3.Persistence and Resilience -No complaining -Mother Nature has the final say, be adaptable If you don't have these core values and reading the above makes you want to run for the hills- you will hate it here.If you have these core values and your face lit up with enthusiasm reading them- you will absolutely love it here.We can't wait to meet you.Compensation:$20.00/Hour Best Way to Apply:Send Jeremy a text- 401-297-6779, or an email- Pondview.jeremy@gmail.com and will setup a time for an initial 20 minute phone call.If that goes well we will invite you to the nursery for the final interview.Job Types:Seasonal, Part-time Pay:$20.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
