Role Objective The Nursery Laborer supports daily nursery operations by receiving plant material, organizing inventory, and maintaining well-stocked and attractive displays.This role plays an essential part in ensuring plants and products are properly handled, organized, and ready for customers. Primary Responsibilities (Role-Specific) Receive deliveries of plants and nursery materials Unload trucks and transport products safely throughout the nursery Tag, organize, and stock plant material and merchandise Maintain orderly displays and inventory areas Assist customers with basic product questions and guidance Refer complex questions or concerns to appropriate staff Attend required trainings and meetings Core Expectations (All Team Members) Deliver gracious, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic service to every client. Maintain an environment that is clean, organized, and welcoming. Support plant health and merchandising standards with care and attention to detail. Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth seasonal transitions. Communicate clearly, respectfully, and proactively with teammates and leadership. Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities. Step in where needed to support team success during peak seasons.
