About the Role We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Yard Laborer to join our plant nursery team.This is a hands-on, outdoor position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, fresh air, and being around plants.Responsibilities Load plants, soil, mulch, and materials into customer vehicles Working on offloading trucks of plants and trees with machines Water, prune, and maintain plant inventory Restock displays and organize yard areas Pull and stage orders accurately and efficiently Drive and assist in off-site plant deliveries Keep the yard clean, safe, and inviting Support team members during busy seasonal rushes Qualifications Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Machinery experience a plus but not required Previous nursery, landscaping, or agricultural experience helpful but not required Must be able to work weekends What We Offer Employee plant discounts Supportive team environment Opportunity to learn about horticulture and plant care Potential for advancement How to Apply Apply in person at 1091 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT or online through Indeed.Come grow with us!
