Mileage reimbursement provided for required travel. Premium Pay Rates: $5/hour premium on all hours worked. $1.25/hour weekend shift differential $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) Experience Requirements: 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred) Scheduling Requirements: Minimum of 30 hours per month One weekend shift per month Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan. Considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use. Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned resident.
