Job OverviewJoin our dedicated endoscopy suite team as a Nursing Assistant, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.In this vital role, you will provide essential support to the clinical team ensuring smooth patient flow and daily operations.Responsibilities Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR).Prepare patient rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality.Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team of Gastroenterologists, Anesthesia Providers, Nurses, and Technicians Qualifications Prior experience working in medical settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient safety protocols including aseptic technique.Experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR are required.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including repositioning patients.Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with disabilities.Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times.Join us in delivering exceptional patient-centered care by applying your skills in a dynamic healthcare environment!
