Some weekends may be required. Position Description Under the direction of a licensed staff, the LED OB Tech gathers data for patient assessment and provides basic nursing care according to the plan of care for patients in LEtD. The OB Tech maintains patient rooms and nursing unit in a clean, organized and environmentally safe manner. The OB Tech orders and stocks unit and office supplies to meet patient care needs. The OB Tech acts as the communication hub for the department. The OB Tech uses sterile technique to prepare and assist with deliveries and C-Section Surgery. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High School Graduate or GED CPR Basic Computer Skills Certified Surgical Tech (CST Credential) Previous experience in an acute care setting required Organization Description Desert Care Network serves the healthcare needs of the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin regions in Southern California with three hospitals Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio and Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree.
